Will press-on nails damage my natural nails?

Not when they’re applied and removed properly. Most damage happens when press-ons are pulled or peeled off before the adhesive has been loosened. Take your time during removal and never force them off.

Are Cute Claw nails easy to apply?

Yes. No salon skills required. Prep your natural nails, find the right size for each finger, apply your chosen adhesive and press each nail firmly into place. Your first application may take a little longer, but the process quickly becomes effortless.

How long does it take to apply a full set?

Much faster than a salon appointment. Once you know your sizes, application is simple and can easily become part of your getting-ready routine.

How do I know which nail size is right for me?

Choose the size that covers your natural nail from sidewall to sidewall without pressing into the skin. Measure the widest part of your natural nails and compare it with our size guide.

If you’re between two sizes, choose the slightly larger nail and gently file the sides for a more precise fit.

What’s the difference between Petite, Slim, Regular and Wide?

They’re designed for different natural nail widths.

Petite is suited to particularly narrow nail beds.
Slim gives a narrower-than-average fit.
Regular is designed for average nail beds and is the best starting point for most people.
Wide gives additional width for broader nail beds.

What if one of the nails isn’t a perfect fit?

That’s completely manageable. Choose the closest slightly larger size and gently file the sides until it sits naturally on your nail.

Avoid using a nail that is too small, as it can look less natural and may not sit comfortably.

Will they look like obvious press-ons?

They shouldn’t. The right size, careful placement near the cuticle and proper application make the biggest difference.

How long will my press-on nails stay on?

Wear time depends on your natural nails, preparation, adhesive, application and everyday routine.

For longer wear, liquid nail glue is the better choice. For occasions or shorter wear, adhesive tabs give you more flexibility and make removal easier.

Will they pop off easily?

Proper preparation makes a huge difference. Start with clean, dry nails, remove excess oils, use the correct size and press each nail firmly into place.

Water exposure, incorrect sizing and insufficient preparation can all reduce adhesion.

Can I shower, wash my hair or wash dishes while wearing them?

Yes, once the adhesive has properly set.

Normal everyday water exposure is fine, but frequent soaking or prolonged exposure to very hot water can gradually weaken the adhesive. Wearing gloves while doing dishes can also help protect your manicure.

Can I reuse my Cute Claw nails?

Potentially, yes. Reusability depends on the adhesive used, how carefully the nails are removed and the condition they are in afterwards.

Adhesive tabs generally make reuse easier because they leave less residue. If you use liquid glue, carefully remove any remaining adhesive before wearing the nails again.

Can I file or reshape them?

Yes. You can gently file the sides or free edge to personalise the fit and shape.

Make small adjustments rather than aggressively filing so you preserve the original design and finish.

Can I paint over my press-on nails?

You can customise many press-on nails with regular nail polish, although doing so will change the original finish and design.

How should I prepare my natural nails before application?

Start with clean, completely dry nails. Gently push back your cuticles, lightly prep the nail surface if instructed, and remove any oil, moisturiser or residue before applying the adhesive.

Good preparation gives the nails a cleaner fit and stronger hold.

How close should I place them to my cuticles?

Position the press-on close to your cuticle without placing it directly onto the skin. Align it carefully before pressing it down.

Correct placement helps the manicure look more seamless and natural.

How do I remove press-on nails safely?

Never pull or force them off.

Soak and loosen the adhesive according to the removal instructions, then gently work around the edges until the press-on releases naturally. If it resists, give it more time rather than applying more force.

Slow removal helps protect both your natural nails and the press-ons you may want to reuse.

How can I make my press-ons last longer?
