THE STORY OF CUTE CLAW

She started with an idea.
Then it found its people.

Five years ago, Sahej Kaur began Cute Claw from home with an idea she believed could become something more. Today, married and living in Haldwani, she is still at the heart of a brand that has grown from her hands into the hands of a team she built around it.

The beginning

Most meaningful things begin before anyone is watching.

Cute Claw did not begin with a perfect plan or a room full of people. It began with Sahej noticing something simple: beauty feels best when it fits into real life. She wanted nails to be less about the appointment and more about the feeling after it, the small, immediate confidence of looking at your hands and feeling a little more like yourself.

So she kept choosing the idea. Through the quiet work, the uncertain decisions, the details no one sees and the days when the brand was still much smaller than the vision behind it. What made Cute Claw grow was not one dramatic moment. It was care repeated often enough to become a standard.

“Some dreams do not arrive loudly. They grow because someone keeps choosing them, even before everyone else can see what they could become.”

How an idea becomes a brand

You build it once in your head. Then, slowly, you build it with people.

01 · The point of view

It had to feel like her.

In the beginning, every decision passed through Sahej. Not because the brand needed to look big, but because it needed to feel right. Her taste became the first filter, and her attention to the smallest things became the first standard.

02 · The trust

Then she learned to let others carry it.

Growth meant more than adding people. It meant finding people she could trust with something that had once existed only in her own hands. Slowly, a personal instinct became a shared way of working, with a team learning not just what Cute Claw should do, but how it should make people feel.

03 · The reason

The woman wearing them stayed at the centre.

Behind every design is a real moment: getting ready for somewhere important, finding a few minutes for yourself, wanting to feel polished without rearranging your day. Cute Claw grew by staying close to those moments, because that is where the brand has always belonged.

What we really sell Cute Claw, at heart.
Because sometimes feeling put together starts with something as small as your hands.

The people behind the Claw

A team built around care, not just growth.

As Cute Claw became bigger, Sahej created a team around the things she refused to lose: taste, attention, warmth and responsibility. Today, different people carry different parts of the brand, but every role leads back to the same question: will this make the woman receiving it feel that someone cared?

That question shapes the way we think about a design, a package, a reply, a problem and every order that leaves us. Because a brand stops feeling homegrown the moment people become numbers. We never want that to happen here.

Growth, to us, means more hands carrying the same care.

A story that keeps moving

It began with Sahej.
It continues with you.

Every set leaves our hands and enters a life we may never fully see: a first date, a wedding morning, a rushed workday, a holiday, or an ordinary evening when you simply wanted to feel a little more finished. That is the part of Cute Claw that matters most to us. We create the nails. You give them a moment.
